Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) and the Big Sky Astronomy Club will host a Star Party at Lone Pine State Park on Friday, June 7th from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Explore Montana’s the night sky with a Star Party at Lone Pine State Park.  The first of many star parties at Lone Pine this summer starts with a presentation in the visitor center about outer space by Big Sky Astronomy Club.  After nightfall, stargazers will head outside with telescopes and binoculars to explore the expansiveness of space.  We recommend bringing warm clothes for the evening, camp chairs and water/coffee.

This event is FREE, and space is limited to 50 stargazers. For more information or to register, call the park visitor center at 406-755-2706 ext.0
