The Captain went solo searching for salmon on Fort Peck on Wednesday.  It was a fruitful day. He was trolling a Seahawk Brads Cup bait filled with tuna at 90 feet over 159 of water at 2.4 mph with a mirror flasher–and that did the trick. The salmon took most of the line off his reel and ran three times as he pulled it closer to his Warrior boat. The male fish weighed 15.11 pounds and was 31 inches long!

He ended up catching a lot smaller salmon with a gold fly.
The Captain was not the only angler catching salmon. In the last couple of days, there have been reports of at least seven salmon caught. Black jaw fever on Peck has begun!
