BILLINGS – Voyagers Rest Fishing Access Site on the Yellowstone River north of Worden is restricted to walk-in traffic only, at least through the coming weekend, because of water flowing through the site and muddy conditions.
Rising and changing river conditions have filled a channel in the middle of the fishing access site with water, making much of the road unpassable to vehicles.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks crews posted the entrance to the fishing access site after they determined that vehicles could not enter the site without becoming stuck or tearing up roadways. Traffic will remain restricted until conditions improve.
