Always over dress this time of year as the weather is always changing. Nothing ruins a day on the water like getting hypothermia. Stay warm and stay safe!

Ashley Lake
No recent reports but salmon fishing should be good. Try using the go to lure, the Hali in a glow white/orange pattern with maggots.

Blanchard Lake
Good perch bite as water is cooling down. Try around dying lily pads and jig with leeches (use Bio Leeches as the live leeches are out of season).

Church Slough
Reports of numerous pike being caught with Berkley Swim Baits. Also, the tried and true frozen whole fish under a bobber will work too!

Echo Lake
Look for bass down deep. A black w/ blue flake (Junebug) mop jig works well when close to the bottom. Reports of decent perch in around 8ft of water.

Flathead Lake
Fall Mac Days in full swing. Anglers are getting small but good numbers in 160ft of water or deeper. Zimmer Glo Grub and cut bait is a good combo.

Flathead River
A few whities have been caught. Reports of a few nice rainbows as well.

Graves Creek (Eureka)
Salmon snagging is almost done with very few fish left to spawn.

Koocanusa
Reports say that the rainbow bite is doing very well. Troll with a Plug-It lure in a pink/white pattern on a planer board.

Lake Mary Ronan
Perch, perch and more perch. Many different lures have been effective. One method is a plastic craw from Pete’s Tackle and his Big-Eyed Spinner. Cast it out, let it sink, and crank it back along the bottom.

Lake Five
Reports of great rainbow fishing. Look for them to be right around 15ft deep and hugging the bottom. Blue Fox spinners in the brass #4 works best.

Little Bitterroot
Kamloops are biting for those willing to brave the cooler weather. The purple and black Plug-It trolled with a planer board is the key.

Lower Stillwater
Perch have been doing well throughout the lake. Try jigging a Forage Minnow with maggots. Watch out for the small pike.

Thompson Chain
No recent reports but perch fishing has been doing well.

Pine Grove Pond
Get your kids out fishing for rainbows before it closes. A worm under a bobber is always a good option.

Smith Lake
Always a good spot to catch smaller pike. The black/orange spinner always works along with small swim baits.

Swan Lake
Lake trout fishing has been decent either jigging or trolling. Good pike action in the shallower waters.
