Pretty chilly up on Rock Creek these days, but the afternoon fishing has steadily been great. Streamer fishing has been very good lately. For streamers use sculpzillas, mojo minnows, skiddish smolts, JJ specials, and headbanger sculpins. There is still a small window in the afternoon for dry fly fishing, but it depends on the day. Warmer days have been best. For dry flies, use mahoganies, chubby Chernobyls, stimulators, BWOs, Rocky Mtn Mints, purple hazes, October caddis, and chew toys. For sub surface patterns use March madness nymphs, pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, San Juan worms, caddis pupae, double beaded stones, and zirdles.

HATCHES: hoppers, BWOs, PMDS, Caddis, October Caddis, Mahoganies, Hecubas
