The hunting of all mountain lions in Montana hunting districts 283, 285 and 380 will close at one-half hour after sunset on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.
Close to All Mountain Lion hunting:
- HD 283 & 285 – which include portions of Missoula and Powell counties,
- HD 380 – which include portions of Broadwater, Jefferson and Lewis and Clark counties
The order halting the hunt came shortly after Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for the districts had been met.
These districts will re-open for the hunting of mountain lions for the Winter Season beginning December 1, 2019.
