Save the Date: Saturday December 7th for Snappy’s Sport Senter’s Annual Ice Fishing Expo!
There will be seminars and deals in the fishing department.
Weather patterns will be changing fishing conditions this week. Temps will be well above freezing and heavy rains early. Fish should be biting with dropping air pressure. Always go prepared for changing weather.

Ashley Lake
No recent reports however, rainbows should be on the move to shallower water.Church Slough
Water levels have gone down some more from last week. The boat launch is reported to be muddy.

Echo Lake
Anglers have been doing well for whitefish. Reports also say the water level is quite low. Jig over larger sized rock piles with Pete’s Whitefish Slayer.

Flathead Lake
Bigger Lakers and even whitefish have been caught in shallower water around shorelines with large rocks. Troll with planer boards for the Lakers and maybe eve a ‘bow or two. Use Pete’s Whitefish Slayer for spawning whitefish.Flathead River
Good news, the whitefish have finally stacked up down lower and anglers are having good success. Best to use craw patters in a 1/4oz black jig on these cloudy days. A few Lakers mixed in as well.

Koocanusa
Another banner week for rainbows. Cap’t Andy’s Flies pulled behind a planer board over fairly shallow water works well. You can also use a pink/white Plug It lure.

Lake Mary Ronan
No recent reports, but fishing has always been great with these weather conditions.

Lower Stillwater
Reports say that there is ice all the way to the islands. What ice is there is NOT safe at this time!

Rodgers Lake
Some of the shoreline ice has depleted so fishing is NOT safe!

Smith Lake
Recent rains and higher temps have made ice conditions bad. Eagle tree has open water and very thin ice. Conditions ARE NOT SAFE FOR NOW!

Swan Lake
One report of good lake trout success in somewhat shallow waters. Anglers were casting silver and black Countdown Rapalas.

Thompson Lake
Now is a great time to go after some rainbows on Middle. Perch action should be good with this low-pressure system we are having.
