It was hard to believe that 18 years had passed since I last skied at Showdown Montana ski area in the Little Belt Mountains. Boy, was I in for a treat. The runs were wide and groomed, the lift lines almost nonexistent and the snow was great. Although not close to Billings, the ski area was worth the four-hour drive as was the soak in nearby White Sulphur Springs hot springs afterward. To find out why you should visit, check out my story at https://billingsgazette.com/lifestyles/recreation/showdown-montana-ski-area-in-little-belt-mountains-is-worth/article_d1b2658e-adfd-5673-8a49-60e79df010f7.html
