Ice on Bynum Reservoir is a foot thick as of March 1, Sunday. Perch average 3 to 5 inches with larger yellow perch up to 12 inches traveling in schools of 3. Pressure ridge has opened up off the island on the west shore out into the middle of the lake. I got on the ice with my Polaris Ranger yesterday. Getting on the ice with ATV is about over for the year due to deterioration near shorelines. Caught about 20 small perch and 3 larger ones, Bigger perch came at once in a small school. Very high winds today on the Front.
