When deer and elk shed their velvet, it isn’t always pretty…depending on your idea of pretty.
Here is footage from a deer farm in the midwest of a buck named “Bonehead” shedding his velvet. It’s just interesting for those that haven’t seen biggins rubbing off their velvet.
Bonehead was a great show buck! At 4 years old he scored 257″ SCi Gross and 227″ SCI Net. He took FIRST place as a Mature Typical at the MN Deer Farmers Association in 2015.
