Ashely Lake
The Perch have been biting strong, especially drawn towards white jigs. Tackle such as Pete’s Crappie Candy, Backwater Bait Anklebiters, and white Mister Twisters should prove a successful trip on the lake.

Echo Lake
The Smallmouth have been drawn towards more natural and darker soft plastics. Trying some crankbaits, Senkos and jigs has shown the most activity.

Flathead Lake
Lake Trout are being caught jigging large glow tails and white jigs in deeper water along ledges and shelves. Spoons are also effective on fair weather days, trolling in shallow rocky water. The Whitefish bite is slow, and reports are few and far between.

Flathead River
Trout have been actively feeding, leading to fair success lately on the river. Grab your favorite spinner or Thomas Cyclone spoon and hit the bank. The Whitefish should start working their way upriver in the next couple weeks, so grab some Anklebiters, and Whitefish jigs.

Church Slough
Although it was a bit slow this summer, its proving to fish well using Crappie Candy, Rapla Jerk baits and top water for both Pike and Crappie.

Fennon Slough
Bass and Pike are still being caught, just in fewer numbers than recent months. Fishing deep weed edges with spinnerbaits and crankbaits seems to be working the best.

Smith Lake
Pike are still biting on those top water ducks, buzz baits and perch colored spinnerbaits.
