Here is what is going on in the Yellowstone River according to Yellowstone Angler:
The Yellowstone is in a bit of a transitional stage right now as the hopper bite is starting to slow down and the small dry fly bite is starting to heat up. Parachute Adams, Purple Hazes, Copper Hazes, Hecuba drakes, and baetis dries have all been taking fish on top. The streamer bite also seems to be improving lately. Nymphs have been working well but also catching a lot of whitefish. Give us a call if you’d like to book a trip! 1-406-222-7130. Paul Lyman and John Bond with a hopper eater!
