Things have been a bit slow the last couple weeks. Not a whole lot of change. However, some colder weather coming up just might get you out on the ice sooner than later.
Ashley & Lake Mary Ronan
The perch are still sitting about 15ft deep. Use those Pete’s Crappy Candy or the Backwater Ankle Biters. Both are a solid choice and have been proving successful.

Flathead Lake
Hearing reports of Whitefish bite in the lake. No other major reports this week.

Flathead River
The Whitefish are running in the river. We have confirmation of lots of success. Use your 1/8oz jig heads with motor oil or green craw baits. You can use a tube as well, but the craws seem to be getting more bites. For the fly fishers we have hear good reports with the Rainbows on brown wooly buggers and green leech patterns.

Kookanusa
Sounds like the Rainbows are hitting pretty good. Get out your planner boards for best success.
