While plentiful wildlife is a boon to hunters, large elk and deer herds along with roaming grizzly and black bears cause landowners a load of frustration. That was evident on Tuesday when the Private Land/Public Wildlife Council met to discuss the Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ new migration strategy. The strategy is reliant on private landowners since habitat and ranges are on private and public land.
