Shirley Moore 12/18/1927 – 12/15/2020 Downrigger Dale’s Mom, Shirley Moore was born in Powell, WY on December 18th, 1927. She was the oldest of three Children. She got her Nursing Degree at Montana State University. She Married Dale Grant Sherman Moore September 9th, 1949 in Glasgow, MT. She practiced nursing in Glasgow, Bozeman and finished her nursing career in Missoula at St. Patrick’s Hospital in the early 60’s as at that point her husband Dale was making enough money to cover the family expenses. Shirley, Dale and their 6 kids were, broadcasters, ranchers and lovers of the Outdoors. Especially snow skiing and fishing. Shirley’s husband Dale unfortunately died in a tragic plane crash in Idaho in 1981. At that time she and Dale were living in Sun Valley Idaho. She later moved to Reno, NV where a few of her kids were living. There she started a successful Jewelry store called Je T’aime. That means I love you in French. She retired from the jewelry business in the early 2000s but lived out the rest of her years in Reno, NV. She passed away in the early hours of Tuesday December 15th.
