PLASTIC BULLETS!!!

When my buddy Shrapnel, was hunting near Custer’s Last Stand, along the Little Bighorn River, he found a surprise. Old Brass from a vintage Sharps rifle turned up. Who fired the shot? Why did they shoot? What were they shooting at? Brass tells a story.

Brass tells the story about what happened. Wardens discover brass to determine poaching cases. Historians find brass to determine where battles happened. Without Brass, the story may end. New polymer casings will decompose and disappear.

The Military especially is interested in Plastic casings. They are more compact, efficient, and cheaper to make. When a 50 caliber Ma Deuce can spew out 600 rounds a minute, weight and storage becomes an issue. The Marines are currently practicing with these new rounds.

Carrying ammo that is 25% lighter is HUGE for a combat soldier. No soldier wants to run out of ammo. The new technology is top secret currently. At some point the ammo will trickle down to hunters and civilians. Ammo should become cheaper and mor efficient.

Surely the first new Plastic Brass will be in Military cartridges.  Eventually, Brass could become a historical relic.

Muzzle loaders are also excited about the new Firesticks product which is a capsule that contains the powder load and bullet that can fit into the breech. The plastic casings offer a weatherproof and consistent load that helps increase accuracy and fewer misfires.

I just hope that the polymer plastics contain corn starch so that they can decompose naturally.
