Because I’m a patriotic individual, I wanted to share this cool photo collage of a bald eagle from a youngster to a five year-old. I didn’t realize this information from the Illinois Raptor Center:
The progression of head color change in young Bald Eagles. It takes 5 years for them to reach the white head and tail of the adults. These were all different Eagles throughout the last few years both in and outside of the Illinois Raptor Center.
Pretty cool.
