2009 Dale Gilbert seminars

Dale Gilbert to offer walleye,
fishing electronics seminars

Montana walleye pro Dale Gilbert will offer two clinics aimed at helping walleye fishermen learn how and where to catch walleyes. The clinics will be held March 21st and March 22nd at Scheels Sports - Holiday Village Shopping Mall, 1200 10th Ave South in Great Falls.

The first clinic on Saturday, March 21, will be on "Walleye Fishing" and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The second clinic on Sunday, March 22, will be on "Lowrance, GPS and Mapping" and will run from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.

Gilbert, from Ulm, has fished walleye tournaments over the past 28 years including the Montana Walleye Circuit, In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail and RCL Circuit.

The Walleye Fishing Clinic will include walleyes life cycles and habits, migration patterns, how and where to find walleyes, fishing presentations, equipment to use, tackle management, rigging your boat, boating safety and tips on boat maintenance.

The Lowrance, GPS and Mapping Clinic shows how better to use fishing electronics including locators, GPS units and the latest contour map programs.

The cost of each clinic is $50 and pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, contact Gilbert at 866-3304 or go to his Web site at www.MontanaWalleye.com.
