This tip is on conditioning. We are only a few months away from spring hunting and if you hunt the west that means high country black bears. You need to be in shape, good shape. Make sure you start working out today. Don’t wait till the week before the season and think you will make it to the top of the mountain. I have been running and using the elliptical machine daily. One nice thing for me is that I have also been lion hunting and if you have ever hunted lions, you know you will be in shape quickly. So make sure you work out so when that time comes to climb the mountain for a animal of a lifetime, you are prepared!
