It has probably been years for most of you Montanans out there since you have taken hunter education courses.
I would like to recap four important rules of gun safety to make sure this upcoming Montana Hunting Season 2012 starts off on the right foot!
- Always point the muzzle of your gun in a safe direction.
- Always treat every gun as if it were loaded.
- Always be sure of your target and beyond.
- Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
Hunting safety is up to each individual and their fun responsibility. Always keep in mind these four basic rules to keep Montana hunting seasons a safe experience.
