HuntingGPSmaps.com launched their social media campaign in Bozeman last Thursday. It was a fun event and during the evening they showcased the premier of their 5 and ½ minute video that was put together by Chisel Industries. The video was three months in the making and showed you how you can experience the best days of your life with the help of their GPS boundary chip program designed to work with a Garmin GPS unit. Check out a picture from the event on the MORS Facebook page.  Look for a post about the event from Kjel Olson on Monday with a link to that video on MontanaOutdoor.com.  And don’t forget to “Like” the MORS Facebook page to stay current on hunting and fishing news.

The Great Montana Mack Attack and Whitefish Jig Fest is taking place this weekend on Flathead Lake. It will be interesting to know how many whitefish are caught during the two-day tournament. We will have the results for you on Monday on www.MontanaOutdoor.com. For all the latest fishing news read the Macman’s report, Bigger Fish, Deeper Fishing and Placing in the Mac Attack – Flathead Lake Fishing Report.

Thursday, August 30th is the last day for you to vote on the Twisted Fishing Photo Contest. It has been a lot of fun viewing the photos. We will announce the winners on Saturdays show September 1st.

Also, next Saturday, upland bird and archery season open in Montana as well as fall Turkey, so hunters will be busy getting ready for opening day. Labor Day Weekend is also next weekend, the last official holiday weekend of the summer!

Also congratulations to Denny Robinson from Highwood and Paul Terrazas from Bozeman!
