The furbearer trapping season is open in Montana as of November 1, 2012. This includes western districts 1, 2 and 3. The trapping season for eastern and central trapping districts 4, 5, 6 and 7 opened on September 1, 2012.
The furbearer trapping season includes:
- beaver
- mink
- muskrat
- otter
The Montana land trapping will open on December 1, 2012.
