Pat Volkmar of Walleyes Unlimited gave us an update on the North and East Middle Schools Fishing Club Trips this school year. The point of getting the kids excited and into fishing and the outdoors early will help to keep them out of trouble a.k.a. ‘hooked on fishing not drugs” Read below and enjoy the pictures.

Wednesday Nov 21st was our kick off to the North and East Middle School Fishing club trips for the school year.  We took a bus load of kids mostly new students to our clubs which is always great to have new comers and a few parents on a rainy and bit soggy day below Holter Dam.

Even though our trip was cut short by the down poor of rain & snow that hit us in the afternoon there was terrific fishing, with multiple rainbow trout caught by many of the kids.  The catch of the day was a 22” rainbow that was relapsed by Justin  Barnes. We hope this is a sign of the trips to come.

If you have a chance in the next couple of months come join us, we can always use the help.  Thanks always to the following sponsors that make these trips possible. Attached are a few of the days photos.
