Eagle Poaching Reward Increased to $20,000

The eagle poaching case that took place in Washington state last month (Click HERE for original article) has ruffled feathers all over the United States, and the mystery poacher(s) have yet to be found.  The reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the poacher(s) has recently been increased to $20,000.

The following organizations have donated to the reward fund:

  • Humane Society of the United States
  • Conservation Northwest
  • Stillaguamish Tribe
  • Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife
  • Campbell Group

If you have any information about the four eagles that were illegally killed and left floating in a lake outside Granite Falls on January 9th of this year, please contact the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police at 1.877.933.9847, or email them at reportpoaching@dfw.wa.gov.   Information received will be treated confidentially.
