Golfing in Montana comes with its fair share of hazards. Sand, water, bunker…and fox?

Canyon River golf course includes one additional hazard; a resident ball-hoarding fox. I remember opening season at the course in East Missoula. Club house employees would routinely warn golfers; good luck, have fun, and beware of the fox on hole 9, he will steal your ball.

This video from a local Missoula news station is a few years old, but it still makes me smile. I hope the fox family adds another hazard for this season of golfers!
