Now, I realize this particular story might be a little “fluffy”, but I recently came across a video of Kate and Pippin (not quite Pippa, but still close) that had nothing to do with the royal family. Kate, a Great Dane, and Pippin, a whitetail doe, are about as best buddies as any animals can get.
The fawn was orphaned, and the Great Dane became a mother and, later, a best friend to the young deer. Turn your speakers down before you watch this, but I am interested to see what you think about this not-so-common animal relationship.
