HYSHAM, Mont.– Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials are seeking information from the public about a young buck deer that was shot and left to waste along the Myers highway just west of Hysham, on or about the 27 or 28 of March.

FWP Warden Matt Hagedorn said the deer was shot out of season, left to waste, and had possibly been shot off the highway. All are violations of Montana law.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Hagedorn directly at 406-853-7300 or the Turn In Poachers-Montana hotline at 1-800-TIP-MONT (1-800-847-6668). Callers can remain anonymous and may be offered a cash reward if the information leads to an arrest.
