Hear where the fish are biting in the Kalispell, Great Falls and Dillon areas, from the latest edition of the Montana Outdoor Radio Show.

Chancy from Snappy’s
Chancy at Snappy’s says area fishing’s been good, especially on Kookanusa. Getting some good reports on salmon around Rexfords in that 12-14 inch range, mostly for those trolling.
AshleyLake’s had good reports in 30ft of water for those trolling with live leaches.  IslandLake’s had good reports on perch fishing 7-11 inches, small pike, and some decent bass.  Lake Mary Ronan’s had good reports on perch.  Van Lake been doing well with power bait for rainbows and they’ve also been throwing spoons.  Fennon and Church sloughs been producing bass & croppy, as well as McWinneger Slough.  The Thompson River is doing well for those river fishing.  Its producing Browns, rainbow, cuts and Whitefish.  And Chancy reminds us the The Montana Mack  Attack and Jig Fest is August 24th & 25th on FlatheadLake, and it has a $25 entry fee.
