Hear the latest hunting and fishing news for the state of Montana, from the recent edition of the Montana Outdoor Radio Show.

November 2nd Summaries
-Bill Brown at Bob Wards reports on Missoula area hunting, and in the Hamilton area fishing the October cadas’s are doing really well.
-Brett French Outdoor editor of the Billings Gazette says statewide elk hunting was up this year for opening week end.  
-Chancy at Snappy’s says area fishing is still good for Lake Superior Whitefish. 
-Dale from Don’s in Lewistown says Spring Creek blue olive fishing is great when the weather’s agreeable.
-John Harris from Lakeside Resort in Trout Creek says area hunting has been slow, and there were 3 wolf harvests reported to the check station.
-Leonard from Robert’s Bait and Tackle says fishing been slow.  Holter has had a few reports pulling cowbells catching trout, and walleye fishing has been really slow.
-Mary Beth Kibler of Kibler Outfitting says the area youth hunt was great this year.
-Robert from Malta Marine says when the weather straightens out, the fishing on Nelson is good.    
-Ron Aashiem of Montana FWP talks about big game opening weekend. For more information go to fwp.mt.gov.
-Ryan from Bob Wards reviews area hunting for Bozeman, Butte, and Helena area hunters.
Shelby from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon says there’s snow up high in the hills, but down low there’s no snow now it’s just pretty muddy at this point.
-Tammy from Northwest Sports in Eureka says been a slow opening week and week end for area hunters.
-Woody from Woody’s Lures in Townsend says the Yellowstone is doing well on Whitefish.
