SIDNEY, Mont.—Construction of the new boat ramp at Sidney Bridge Fishing Access Site is expected to be completed by the end of November. The ever changing nature of the Yellowstone River rendered the previous boat ramp useless during lower flows. The new ramp will extend 22 additional feet into the river. The site continues to be open for bank fishing and recreating, however, the boat ramp remains closed until the project is completed. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks asks that users respect the parameters of the construction site.
