Feb 28 and March 1, 2014 – Youth outreach and annual fundraiser! Hilton Garden Inn.

IT’S ALL FREE JUST BE HERE:

Hey Mom & Dad, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Big brothers & Sisters;

Four (4) lucky kids will win a free opportunity to attend a summer camp at the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Ranch. The camps are five days long in June and August of 2014 and are scheduled for two age groups including ages 11 to 13 and ages14 to 17. Food, lodging and transportation expenses for the camps will be paid. The winners will be chosen at the MTWSF fundraiser Saturday March 1, 2014 at the Hilton Garden Inn of Missoula.

Youth event is Friday from noon to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM we will have activities for kids up to 17 years of age. On Friday we will host 150, 7th Graders from CS Porter Middle School and welcome all youth from the greater Missoula area. These activities will teach many different things related to wildlife and wild places. Upon completing all stations each child’s name will be entered into a drawing. Three of the winners will be from the 11 to 17 year old kids who attended the work stations on Friday or Saturday. One winner will come from a drawing only for those kids attending the Saturday night banquet. Parents or responsible adult bring your kids for this fun-packed, free event and consider attending the MTWSF fundraiser on Sat March 1, 5pm. (Dinner tickets $45) at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Our goal is to help Missoula area youth gain more opportunity to experience the majestic outdoors Montana has to offer!

Mission Statement MTWSF- to enhance and promote the state sheep herd populations and to safeguard against the decline and extinction of the species. Additionally, the chapter is committed to assist in funding various projects for professional management of these sheep populations throughout the state of Montana as well as sheep populations in all of North America. Essential projects involving conservation, habitat, management improvement and sheep population and propagation are actively funded by the MTWSF.
