On the topic of predator management, Montana’s wolf trapping season ended Friday, February 28th, but wolf hunting season is open until March 15th. There were a total of 86 wolves trapped during Montana’s 2013-2014 wolf trapping season. As of March 3rd, there have been 139 wolves harvested by hunters, with a total of 225 wolves taken in Montana to date.
