When I’m 74, I hope I am still living life to the fullest like Billings retiree Gary Kittelson. The 74-year-old has a very detailed yearly schedule. In the winter, he participates in the Masters ski racing program. Once that’s over, he starts fishing through July. That’s when he moves to the Columbia River Gorge to windsurf through the summer until the archery season opens. Then he returns to Montana to bowhunt, followed by the rifle season and then it’s on to the ski season again. As he told me, he has the perfect life and the perfect wife who doesn’t mind that he spends so much time following his own compass.
