On March 3, 2014, there were 225 wolves harvested in the state of Montana. One year later, the total number of wolves harvested is at 202 wolves, as of March 1st. Although Montana’s wolf hunting season remains open until March 15th, Montana’s wolf trapping season closed at 11:59pm on Saturday, February 28th.
