The Mountain Man sent us this fishing report:
The fishing over the past several days on Missoula area rivers was pretty darn good considering the weather. Bitterroot and Rock Creek both had great March Brown and blue winged olive hatches-starting about 2:30. We did better oversizing the patterns a bit in the wind and allowing the flies to skate before picking up and casting again. Old go to patterns like the pheasant tail and prince nymph sizes 14 and 16 worked before and during the hatches. Skwala dry fly fishing was fair to good on the upper parts of the Bitterroot-Hamilton area.
