Bill from Bob Wards says in the Hamilton areas beware bears and bear hunters and dress appropriately. In the Missoula area Flathead Lake is doing really well.
Bill from Rock Creek Marina says walleye fishing’s picking up.
Brett French Outdoor Editor of the Billings Gazette says it’s been wet in Eastern Washington with it looking like a little bit of Winter is still lingering around, and he describes his weekly article at Montanaoutdoor.com.

Chancy at Snappy’s says the rivers and streams are opening up next weekend and says the time to get ready is upon us.

Leonard from Roberts Bait and Tackle says paddlefish is doing well, and Holter is getting those big perch and quite a bit of trout as well.

Ryan from Bob Wards says in Helena Canyon Ferry Lake trout fishing has been good especially around the North end of the lake. In the Bozeman area fishing the Madi has had success, with the run off from Ennis, and in Butte the Bighole and Beaverhead River are the places to be fishing.
