Carolyn from Rock Creek Fisherman Mercantile, located east of Missoula, gave this brief report about the salmon flies appearing on Rock Creek. The famous hatch is anticipated by flyfishers everywhere.
The Salmon flies have appeared. I told you the earliest I have seen them was May 19th and sure enough they appeared on the 19th. As soon as the sun comes out they will fly.
