Sometimes a summer angler’s mind can wander, especially after sweating in the hot sun while staring at a small fly floating down bright rippling water. That was the case recently when I went fishing with Count von Count and Captain Kirk. In case you don’t know, the Count is a purplish Dracula-like puppet on Sesame Street and Captain Kirk was the commander of the Starship Enterprise in the television show Star Trek.
