Mike Malikie was kind enough to share with us the story of a young hunter’s first bull elk.
Scott Malikie, a 15 year old freshman at Missoula Sentinel, bagged his first ever elk Sunday 10/25/2015. We saw 7 bulls over the weekend and this was the largest, a 6×6. Scott dumped it at 130 yards and it took over 8 hours to pack it back to the vehicle.
