Bear social media page gains popularity

The grizzly bears of Mission Valley have become media stars and are gaining popularity after a St. Ignatius family made it a project to deploy game cameras in their 240-acre backyard and post the photos on Facebook.
“We all know the grizzlies are there. The images have even earned comments from biologists who have complimented the project.
The videos on the page have gotten a couple thousand page views since it was started last month, with new video coming in every day or so. The page manager says the family intends to keep posting video until the bears head in for hibernation.
