Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks has called of the search for a killer bear in the Kalispell area that fatally mauled an 85-year-old woman in her home on Sept. 28.
The woman had previously been cited for feeding the bears in 2012. Officials did kill two black bears after the incident, one of which is believed to have been a sibling bear based on DNA analysis.
Those bear were found with sunflower seed and millet in their gut which leads official to believe the animals are still being fed illegally.
