Hunting

Big Game is in full swing so shop our extensive gear selection at Bob Ward’s to find that extra edge! Remember to double check regulations and sync your GPS with the latest maps.

Bozeman Fishing

Gallatin River

Icy conditions and cold temps have pushed the early fishing times a little later in the day. Nymphing has us catching more than a few. Use smaller stones or baetis.

Madison River: Upper

Take a stroll up river a ways from where you park. We think you’ll like your chances a little better. Nymphing is again the go to here.

Madison River: Lower

This is our preferred spot right now. Try streamer fishing for a good day out.

Yellowstone River

If the clouds are out you could have a good day. Otherwise you might want to try someplace else.

Butte Fishing:

With the colder weather ice is starting to form on the water. Many of the rivers are quickly becoming iced over.  There is still open water on Georgetown. Nightcrawlers and marshmallows are good bets everywhere.
