While the antlerless elk shoulder season in four Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 4 hunting districts will continue straight through till Feb. 15, the state hunt coordinators will be taking a few days off for Christmas.

The White Sulphur Springs coordinator will not be available Dec. 24, 25 and 26.

Hunters seeking information for HDs 446, 452 and 449 should consult the FWP website for information and may use the following block management area maps, which are also available on the FWP website: 178, 177, 151, 93 and 82.

The Great Falls hunt coordinator for HD 445 will not be available Dec. 22-29.

For all these districts, hunting is allowed antlerless elk only on private lands, federal Bureau of Land Management lands and state of Montana school trust lands. No elk shoulder seasons will occur on national forest lands or any FWP wildlife management areas.
