Roaring Lion Fire Video Update on the Evening of 8.1.16

I recorded a video of the Roaring Lion Fire, which has spread more than 3,500 acres as of the evening of Monday, August 1, 2016.  I currently live in Darby, so we drive through the area from Missoula, where we work, every day, and this was what the fire looked like just over 24 hours of the fire starting.  Unfortunately, today (Tuesday) is predicted to be windy and hot, so that will not help any of the fires burning in Montana and Idaho.  Again, our thoughts and prayers remain with everybody affected by this fire and any of the other fires burning.  Thank you to all of our hardworking service members doing all they can to protect us all–all of the firefighters, the Red Cross, the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Department, the Police Department, and all businesses, organizations and individuals who have helped and are helping out in any way.  What amazing community support for these people who have already or are at risk of losing everything.
