Attention Beaver Trappers!

Do you live within 300 miles of Bozeman or West Yellowstone, MT?

Do you trap beavers for recreation or property damage issues?

Torrey Ritter is a graduate student at Montana State University who is working on a project looking at the relationship between the age of beavers and their weight.

This project will be highly useful for biologists, trappers, and researchers who need to quickly, cheaply, and easily estimate the age of beavers in the field.

All he needs is the skull or jaw of any beaver along with the beaver’s un-skinned weight.

Torrey can come pick them up!

This is a great opportunity to contribute to important furbearer research.

Please call Torrey Ritter at 406-381-2339 or send an e-mail to torreyritter@gmail.com.
