The fall trout bite is on at Holter Reservoir. The Captain and Brandon Jackson from Alaska went out Monday and caught up a storm. It was great the moment they started fishing at10am till the time they quit. They caught and released close to 40 trout and also kept their limit.
Most of the trout were in the 6-14 feet of water range. The best spot was across from Cottonwood Creek on the cliffs. Split Rock als produce trout. Viking spoons and syclops worked the best trolling 2 miles per hour.
