If you can handle the cool fall temperatures you will enjoy the hot fishing at Holter Reservoir for trout. Downrigger Dale and the Captain decided to ignore the weather forecast of cool temperatures, as they bundled up and went fishing on Holter for trout Monday. Trolling 2 miles per hour in 11-18 foot depth over 90 feet of water near split rock worked for the duo as they began fishing at 9:30 and had their limit by 12pm.

Viking spoons worked the best and you can see the colors that the trout craved.
