Matt Watrous, a Marine Corps veteran and a long-time Bitterrooter, has been trapping for a few years now and decided to get after marten recently. As a new dad and a soon-to-be-husband to the mother of his daughter, Matt is about to have a trapping partner in a few years, so it’s good he’s brushing up on his skills! He put 24 sets out, and on his 1st trap check, he walked away with two marten! Excellent work, Matt!
