Montana State Parks board to meet

Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today that the Montana State Parks & Recreation Board will meet on Thursday, April 20th in Anaconda, MT. The meeting will begin at 9am and will be held in Room 103 of Fairmont Hot Springs located at 1500 Fairmont Rd.

The Parks Board will take action on Hell Creek State Park Concession Agreement Extension, Capital Projects over $5000, as well as Recreational Trails Program and Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Program grant approvals. The Board will also review the proposed 2018/2019 Biennial Fee Rule. Informational updates will be heard for Makoshika State Park Campground/waterline extension Project, Smith River Advisory Council, and the 2017 Montana Legislative session.

The public is invited to attend this meeting. Public comment for items not on the agenda is scheduled for 9:45am. The Board may take action on all matters specifically noted on this agenda. Agenda times may vary as much as one hour – earlier or later. Online streaming audio is unavailable for this meeting.

On Wednesday, April 19th, Board Members will participate in tours of Anaconda Stack State Park in Anaconda and Pipestone OHV area near Whitehall, MT.
