Orphaned St. Ignatius bear cubs attract national attention

Two grizzly bear cubs have garnered national media attention after they were orphaned near St. Ignatius when their mother was killed by shotgun in September.

An online poll that took in 6,000 votes named the cubs Nova and Nita. The duo are the first pair of grizzly bear cubs to be housed at the Maryland Zoo.
